THERAPEUTIC AREAS

Where current treatments fall short

Dianosic targets two therapeutic areas with massive unmet medical needs: chronic respiratory diseases and central nervous system disorders.

Respiratory diseases

  • 1.4 B patients suffer from persistent allergic rhinitis worldwide¹
  • 900 M patients impacted by chronic rhinosinusitis²
  • 85% of allergic rhinitis patients are not compliant with their treatment³
  • 20–25% of CRS patients do not respond to first-line treatment⁴

CNS / Nose-to-Brain

  • 35 M patients affected by schizophrenia and Parkinson’s disease⁵
  • Major drug-delivery barriers (blood-brain barrier, hepatic first-pass metabolism) limit treatment efficacy
  • Patient adherence remains a critical challenge in CNS chronic therapies
  • Major drug-delivery barriers (blood-brain barrier, hepatic first-pass metabolism) limit treatment efficacy

DIA01-R
Phase I-ready (2026)  — Resorbable corticosteroid-eluting insert delivering local treatment over 6 months. In-office placement under local anaesthesia in under 30 minutes. Targets the 85% of patients non-adherent to their current daily nasal spray treatment. Indicated for moderate to severe persistent allergic rhinitis. Local sustained corticosteroid release on the nasal mucosa targets the inflammatory response at the site of action, eliminating the need for daily nasal spray administration.
DIA02-S
Phase I  — Resorbable corticosteroid-eluting insert delivering local treatment over 12 months. In-office placement under local anaesthesia in under 30 minutes. Targets the 20–25% of patients who do not respond to first-line treatments. Indicated for CRS — nasal corticosteroid non-responder patients. Local sustained corticosteroid release on the nasal mucosa targets chronic inflammation in the sinuses, providing continuous treatment for non-responders to first-line therapies.
DIA03-NTB
Exploratory  — Exploratory program using the intranasal route to deliver active compounds directly to the brain, bypassing the blood-brain barrier and hepatic first-pass metabolism. Based on the polymer elution know-how developed with DIA01-R. Indicated for schizophrenia and Parkinson's disease.
